We start our moroccan desert tour early from Agadir for a day of discovery. On the way to Tata, we will pass through Ighrerm, a picturesque village at the foot of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. We will stop at several viewpoints to admire the stunning landscapes, palm groves, and oases. After a day of travel, we will arrive in Tata in late afternoon, where we will spend the night in a traditional accommodation to immerse ourselves in the local culture
The Moroccan tour from Agadir continues towards the Moroccan Sahara. We head to Erg Chegaga, the largest dune in Morocco. Crossing the desert track and diverse landscapes, including Foum Zguid and the dried Iriki Lake, we reach the Erg Chegaga dunes in the early afternoon. After a picnic and a camel ride, we spend the night at a comfortable bivouac under Berber tents, enjoying a spectacular sunset and an evening around the fire.
In the morning, after sunrise and breakfast at the bivouac, we set out towards Agdz. We cross the Hamada of the Draa and take a break in M'hamid, where we will enjoy a one-hour camel ride. We visit the Quranic library and discover pottery making in Tamgroute. After lunch in Zagora, we arrive in Agdz at the end of the day, where we will spend the night in a charming Guesthouse.
This is already the end of our journey departing from Agadir to the Moroccan desert. On our last day, we head towards Taznakht, the capital of Moroccan carpets, then to Taliouine, renowned for its saffron culture. After a lunch break, we resume our drive back to Agadir, arriving in the late afternoon, thus concluding this unforgettable adventure in the Moroccan desert.
