Your 6-day Morocco desert adventure begins at 9:00 AM in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle departing from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate. We will travel along the stunning road crossing the High Atlas Mountains, including the famous Tizi N’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. Along the way, we’ll stop to visit a traditional Argan oil cooperative, where you can learn about the production process and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Atlas. A delicious lunch will be served en route. Overnight stay in a charming hotel in Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert."
Head south via the Tizi n’Tinifift Pass (1,710 m), marking the start of the stunning Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river. Stop at the traditional green pottery workshops in Tamegroute. Arrive in M’hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert. Overnight in a comfortable desert camp under the stars.
After breakfast, travel by 4x4 to the massive dunes of Erg Chegaga, rising up to 300 meters. Lunch at the Sacred Oasis, then climb the dunes to witness an unforgettable desert sunset. Overnight in a camp with traditional Berber music.
Spend the day exploring the heart of the desert. Ride camels, meet nomadic families, and taste traditional sand bread. Enjoy a lively evening around the campfire before sleeping in your desert tent.
Cross the dry Lake Iriqui by 4x4, then pass through Foum Zguid. Continue to Taznakht, Morocco’s carpet capital, and visit a local cooperative. Arrive at the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in a charming hotel.
